Phil Bonnar

Phil Bonnar is a Director and is Head of the Court Department at Russel + Aitken.  Phil is mainly based in the Alloa office but will see clients in the Falkirk office where appropriate.

Phil qualified as a Solicitor in 2013, having undertaken his legal traineeship in the period August 2011 to August 2013 at established Edinburgh firm, Warners LLP.  Following qualification as a Solicitor, Phil then practised in Glasgow for over three years before moving to Russel + Aitken in November 2016.  Phil specialises in Civil litigation, focusing on family law including separation, divorce, cohabitation, child residence and contact matters.  Phil appears regularly in Sheriff Courts across central Scotland, Children’s Hearings and Eviction Tribunals
